"I recorded this album while traveling around the world over the course of a year. I wrote songs in hotel rooms, on airplanes and backstage at music venues. The idea that today’s music production technology allows a songwriter to travel with a “symphony inside of a laptop” was what inspired me to create this album outside of the recording studio.
